The pet system is a crucial element of combat power in CROSS GATE : Mobile. For new players, it’s recommended to start using this system as soon as possible, as pets can significantly improve your performance in both PvE and PvP.

This article will guide you through the basics of the pet system, from choosing and developing pets to recommending pets suitable for most adventurers.

🌿How to Obtain Pets

Most pets are obtained by sealing them in the wild. Important points to know

• Pets can be sealed after encountering monsters in the wild.
• After that, you can use the automatic search system in the pet encyclopedia to seal them again.
• Sealing requires Sealing Cards (Gold/Silver).
• Sealing Cards can be obtained from
  • Daily Events
  • Gold Coin Shop
  • Pet Summon Events
  • Guild Events

📊How to Determine a Pet’s “Good” Potential

Each pet has different potential, based on three main factors:

1. Level
Displayed as current level / maximum level.

The closer the level is to the maximum → the higher the stats. The maximum level increases for “Pet’s Strength Limit”

2. Level Bonus

• If the level is no more than 4 levels away from the maximum level,
  → This will grant a % stat bonus, resulting in this group of pets being “clearly superior”.

3. Growth Distribution

• Choose pets with the highest growth in their “core stats”. Example
  • Tank pets → Focus on durability + strength
  • Attack pets → Focus on power + speed

Once you have a pet, you can customize it to suit your playstyle in various ways:

1. Stat Adjustment

• Once you have a pet, you can customize it to suit your play style in several ways

2. Skill Learning

• Learn additional skills according to the required level.
• Skill books can be obtained from: Shop (low level), Dungeons / Bosses (high level) / Auction Market

3. Training

• Feed your pet to increase experience points and loyalty.

4. Pet Core

• Use “Magic Power Refinement Blueprint” and other materials to create a pet core.
• Increases key stats: Status Resistance / Attack Rate / Agility.

5. Upgrade

• Use “Customization Blueprint” To learn passive skills that will make your pet even stronger.

6. Affection Level

• Use Pet Encyclopedia Cards or Pet Encyclopedia Card Fragments to increase the Affection Level, boosting your pet’s overall stats and strengthening it. These can be obtained from: the automated forest monster farm, the shop, and various systems.
