Pet Taming & Mount Guide: Unlock Rides & Stat Boosts!
In the world of Cross Gate: Mobile, pets are more than just loyal combat companions—certain pets can actually be tamed into “Mounts”! Riding a mount boosts your movement speed, grants massive combat stat bonuses, and makes your character look awesome as you explore the realm.
🐾 Step-by-Step Pet Taming Guide
1. Check Mount Eligibility
Open your Pet Menu and check the icon on the left side of your pet’s avatar:
- Pets eligible for taming will clearly display a Mount button.
- If the pet hasn’t been tamed yet, a prompt will appear: “Mounts must be tamed before they can be ridden.” Click Confirm to instantly teleport to the Taming NPC.
2. Visit NPC Ini (Pet Tamer)
Head to the Pet Shop, talk to NPC Ini, and select Tamed Mount to open the taming interface.
💡 Good to Know: Beyond standard wild pets and quest rewards, the game also features a Divine Mount Banner where you can summon legendary, super-rare mounts like the Gold Dragon!
3. Gather the 5 Taming Materials
To tame 1 pet into a usable mount, you need to collect all 5 Taming Items:
- 📜 Certificate of Demon Hunt
- 🎺 Horn of Summoning
- 🪵 Taming Whip
- 💖 Heart of the Beastmaster
- ⛓️ Iron-Biting Fiend (Collar)
🛒 Where to Get All 5 Items:
- Mount Taming Select Gift Pack: Earned through various in-game event rewards.
- Moby Shop: Purchase material selection boxes directly using Diamonds/Moby at 650 Moby each.
- Trading Post: Buy and sell with other players under the Mount Taming category.
4. Begin Taming & Hit the Road!
Once you have gathered all 5 materials, return to the Riding Pet Taming window and hit the Taming button at the bottom. The system will instantly transform your pet into a rideable Mount!
✨ Post-Taming Bonuses & Perks
- 🏃♂️ Movement Speed Bonus: Increases character movement speed by +12%.
- ⚔️ Contract Slot Bonus: Unlocks Contract Slots to boost key stats (such as Attack %, HP %, and CRIT Rate %).
- 🐾 Mount Skill Slot: Unlocks specialized Mount Skill slots to grant extra combat utilities.
