🔍”Detective Quest” System
Find clues, solve mysteries, and receive valuable rewards in Cross Gate : Mobile!
In addition to the main quests and leveling up, Cross Gate : Mobile features an interesting quest system called “Detective Quest” that allows travelers to take on the role of a detective, solve cases, uncover mysteries, and assist NPCs across various maps to earn rewards and increase their character’s achievement level!
🧭Steps to Start the Detective Quest
Open the “Seeker’s Handbook”
When entering the game, click to open the Seeker’s Handbook window from the main screen to access a collection of exploration information and various special quests for your character.
Go to the “Detective Quest” section
Once in the Seeker’s Handbook, look at the right menu bar and select the “Detective Quest” section (icon with a magnifying glass). You will find a list of all available detective quests ready for you to take on.
Gather and read clues
In the detective quest window, there will be cards for each case displayed. Click to view details to read the initial clues about the location, events, or individuals facing problems.
Head to the target location to find NPCs
After reading the clues, travel to the location specified in the clues to explore the area, search for evidence, and talk to the NPCs related to the case to trace and solve the mystery further.
Assist NPCs and complete the quest
Follow the quest conditions, whether it involves talking to unravel the mystery, fighting monsters, or searching for items as requested by NPCs, to successfully clear the case.
Receive valuable rewards!
Upon completing the detective quest, you will receive quest rewards (such as EXP, money, development materials) as well as increase your exploration progress in the Seeker’s Handbook to unlock additional stats bonuses for your character!
💡Tips for New Detectives
- Level and combat: Some detective quests may involve fighting enemies. It is recommended to prepare your character and pets before setting out.
- Observe details: If you cannot find the NPC, try going back to read the clues on the quest card again, as the text often clearly states the name of the city or nearby locations!
